Our names are Jen and Kelsey. We are the owners and lead makeup artists of Something Borrowed Beauty, a mobile beauty studio serving Calgary, Kananaskis, Banff, Lake Louise, Golden, and area. We come to you with over 14 years of makeup artistry experience each. We continuously study new makeup trends so we can deliver whatever style you need. From natural beauty looks to stunning modern transformations, we do it all.

We are not just in the business of delivering services. Each and every day we wake up excited to do what we love, and that is making women look and feel their absolute best. Whether you are a bride getting ready for her special day, a woman celebrating her engagement with a photoshoot, or  looking to achieve a certain look for any event, Something Borrowed Beauty is here for you. Our Partners

We get it. Weddings and events can be stressful for you. We both worked independently in the bridal industry for years before forming Something Borrowed Beauty in 2016. We had experienced brides losing the magic of their big day as they struggled to coordinate among florists, makeup artists, and hairstylists. We saw event planners looking frantically last minute for someone to accommodate or travel to style their clients. We knew there had to be a better way – so we made that way.

For your convenience, we partner with some of the most talented and creative artists in our industry, including photographers, bridal shops, wedding planners, and florists. Each partner we recommend or bring to your event has been carefully hand-selected by us to ensure a perfect fit for your needs, theme, and style. Our clients want to know that they are in good hands, and they can relax knowing that we are here to take great care of them.
